2008 Summer Tennis ---------------
SHOALS AREA
The Shoals Junior Circuit will begin it's 6th season of play
this summer. Last year, over 200 juniors competed in at least one event. The circuit is a series of one day, singles
only tournaments which will be held on Saturdays throughout the summer. The series will conclude with a "Masters" event
where only the top four players in each division will qualify.
EVENTS: 12 and under, 15 and under, 18 and under Boys and
Girls Singles.
DEADLINE: You must call the individual site(tournament you would like to enter) by Thurs
6 pm
FORMAT: 8 game pro-set with no-ad scoring.
AWARDS: Trophies will be presented to 1st, 2nd and consolation
winners.
COSTS: $12.00 per tournament

2 points will be awarded for entering each tournament
- 2 points for each
main draw win
- 1 point for a consolation
draw Top four point winners in each age division will receive awards at the end of the season and will be invited to
the MASTERS event
