2010 Red Bay High School Tennis Teams

SHOALS AREA   SATURDAY  TENNIS TOURNAMENTS_________

Events:   12 and under, 15 and under, 18 and under boys and girls singles and doubles. Draws will be limited.

Deadline: You must call the tournament site by Thursday at 6:00pm to enter. It is your responsibility to call for your start time on Friday by 1:00pm. You must call immediately if you have entered and cannot play(sickness or personal reasons). Being a no-show will bring a suspension of play for this individual for the next two tournaments.

Format: 8 game pro-set with no add scoring.

Cost:  $12 for singles, $15 for doubles.

Point System: 2 points for entering; 2 points for a main draw win; 1 point for consolation win. NOTE: Receiving a bye in the first round and winning your 1st match will result in 4 points awarded.       For more info:   http://timholmestennis.com              http://rbhstennis.tripod.com

Birthdays: Some birthdays fall during the summer. You must play in the division that corresponds to your age.  Example: If you are 15 and then turn 16 you must play in the 18 and under division.

All 2010 RBHS tennis players should play a minimum of 3 Saturday's during the summer if possible..............If a RBHS tennis player wants to play on the tennis team in 2010, they will play several Saturday's during the Summer of 2009.

Shoals Junior Circuit 2009

The Shoals Junior Circuit is a series of one day tournaments which are held on Saturdays throughout the summer.

Events:   12 and under, 15 and under, 18 and under boys and girls singles and doubles. Draws will be limited to a maximum of 32 entries.

Deadline: You must call the tournament site by Thursday at 6:00pm to enter. It is your responsibility to call for your start time on Friday by 1:00pm. You must call immediately if you have entered and cannot play(sickness or personal reasons). Being a no-show will bring a suspension of play for this individual for the next two tournaments.

Awards: Trophies awarded to 1st, 2nd and consolation winners.

               2 points will be awarded for entering each tournament

• 2 points for each main draw win
• 1 point for a consolation draw Top four point winners in each age division will receive awards at the end of the season and will be invited to the MASTERS event
