Red Bay High School Tennis began in 1990. Red Bay is located in Northwest Alabama, a part of Franklin County, Alabama.  Red Bay Tennis Teams have qualified for the AHSAA STATE Tournament 16 times.  Red Bay competes in the Alabama High School Athletic Association, Class A-2A-3A Division, Section IV

The defending state champion Montgomery Academy boys, winners of the 1A-3A state crown in nine of the last 11 years, were tangled in a 36-all tie with Randolph entering the final day of play. Altamont was third with 26 points, followed by Red Bay (24), Bayside (23), Indian Springs (22), Westbrook (12), Donoho (11) and Mars Hill Bible (7).

Bayside's Anderson Reed is one of two finalists in No. 1 singles from last year to make it back to the semifinals today. Huntsville's Alex Rafia is also in the semis, and the two could meet in the finals for the second straight year.  Reed repeated as Singles Champion.
